Honeywell North PR500 Series Front Mount PAPR

The Honeywell North PR500 general purpose PAPR (powered air-purifying respirator) system has a tight-fitting full facepiece. It can also be used as an air-purifying respirator (APR) without the blower. The assembly includes a facepiece with head strap, blower motor, battery, and battery charger. PAPRs have a belt-mounted blower unit that passes ambient air through a filter before sending it to the headgear so workers have clean, breathable air. They allow workers to move freely and unrestricted because the filter and power source are worn on the body.
